My Team

I’m excited to share that my husband, Shawn, has joined Design Elements! Shawn is a skilled interior designer with experience in both architecture and video game environment design, making him a CGI expert too.

We met at university in 2004 and have tackled many projects together since—both at home in the Helderberg Basin, Cape Town, and through our renovation adventures. If you’re curious, check out my blog to see our latest fixer-upper progress.

In our free time, Shawn can be found at his drawing tablet creating masterpieces and I may be attempting to break family tree brick walls. Family time is important to us and we enjoy weekend adventures with our son and our sweet boxer doggy. And a lekker braai with cherished family and friends is always great.

But we are always ready and keen to jump in on new projects and so we’d love to help turn your house into a home you love!
